In case of an emergency

During surgery opening hours (8.30 am to 7.00pm) telephone 01379 642021.

Outside surgery hours telephone 01603 488488. The call handler will then take your details and pass them to the ‘On Call Emergency Team’ which consists of doctor, nurse and paramedic. A member of this team (usually the doctor) will telephone you to decide on the most appropriate action. Most calls can be managed by advice over the telephone. Occasionally the health professional may ask you to attend the local emergency base so that they can examine you and occasionally a home visit may be arranged. The emergency base is located in a bungalow called Cherry Tree Stables on Roydon Rd in Diss.

Remember in extreme cases dial 999 where ambulance control will alert the doctor as well as send an ambulance.
